I've no issue with GIANTS adding it if it's something they can do without spending too long doing it, but something like approximate haptic feedback would be more likely than full force feedback - especially considering how few will play the game with FFB-enabled wheels. I'd probably enjoy FFB for about 20 minutes for the novelty in FS, but after that it would get annoying very quickly. I drove a Massey 135 years ago and while I enjoyed its simplicity I'd absolutely hate to have that experience in front of my PC. Can you imagine if GIANTS attempted FFB and we had semi-realistic feelings driving over ruts and crashing into things? It would be dreadful! I had the same on my wheels over the years and I can just imagine how bad they would feel in FS.įFS on racing games is fine (and I used it for 15 years in racing sims), as it's usually refined and adds to the experience. None of which I would want to experience personally - they're effects to show what a wheel can do, but they certainly wouldn't add to the enjoyability of the game - more wind up the rest of your household. The menu cannot be operated with the controller. For those of you unsure what force feedback can do apart from self-centering, from the test page of my T150 To operate the viewpoint (right stick operation), the cross key must be switched to the right stick. If you want to use the paddles, you will need to change the buttons. The game default operation is "Shift UP: X button" and "Shift DOWN: □ button". The collaboration between Saitek (who went broke and was bought out by Logitech to become Logitech-Saitek) and Giants for their own FS Steering Wheel and control panel does not mention any force-back on the wheel. PC Games can be played with software that supports the XInput Game Controller API on Microsoft Windows. I would guess the vibration is for gamepads, console users probably expect rumble as a standard feature. ※ Pedal reassignment necessary ( Brake : L2 、 Acceleration : R2 ) ※ Compatible only from System version 4.80 onwards ※ Can’t text on chat (TouchPad Operation) ※ Can’t equip agricultural tools/devices ( TouchPad Operation ) ※ Can’t u se Photo Mode ( TouchPad function ) ※No further DLC for Driveclub Bikes so not PS5 compatible Since the default setting is "× button: Shift up, 〇 button: Shift Down", button reassignment is necessary to operate with the paddle. ※ Menu screen won ’ t show up ( TouchPad function ) ※ Map screen won’t show up ( TouchPad function ) In order to tilt the body (R stick operation), it is necessary to switch the Directional Pad to the R stick or changed to "Single Stick" in the in-game controller settings. ※ Can’t change POV ( Touch Pad Operation) ※ When performing a right turn or left turn operation (R stick operation) on the rear wheel, it is necessary to switch the Directional Pad to the R stick using the Directional Pad Control Toggle Switch. ※※ Pedal reassignment necessary ( Brake : L2 、 Acceleration : R2 ) ※ In PS4-N mode, Help/Flashback (TouchPad Operation) will work with the △ button ※ In order to look back/front/left/right (Right Stick operation), it is necessary to switch the Directional Pad settings to the Right Stick. ※ Can’t u se Replay/Flashback and Button Test (TouchPad Operation) ※ Can’t use Foto Mode ( TouchPad Operation ) ※ Can’t use Replay Display Controls ON/OFF ( TouchPad Operation ) ※ Pedal reassignment necessary (Brake: □, Acceleration: ✕ ). ※ PS4-N Can’t change POV ( TouchPad Operation ) ※ Can’t change POV ( TouchPad Operation )
